Polls Gap

Hemphill Bald Trail, Rough Fork Trail and Polls Gap Trail intersect at Poll's Gap.  Hemphill Bald Trail, to the right, takes you to the great views of the bald. Rough Fork Trail, in the middle, takes you 6.5 miles downhill to the Cataloochee Valley. Polls Gap Trail, to the left, travels 4.5 miles to the top of Spruce Mountain.

As you leave Mile High Campground turn left. After entering the park, Polls Gap is the first trailhead parking area on the right.
